Controlling PO Communications for Change Orders
When processing a change order in Oracle, not every update needs to be sent to the supplier—especially if you're making a minor adjustment like adding an internal attachment or making a basic change that doesn't impact the supplier.
To prevent unnecessary notifications, simply update the Communication Method field on the PO and set it to “None.” This ensures the supplier won’t receive a copy of the updated PO when it’s not needed, keeping communications clean and relevant. This small step can help reduce confusion and streamline your purchasing process.
