Campus Vote Purchasing Tile Banner

Help choose the name campus will see.

Beginning in April 2027, a tile in Oracle Procurement will provide access to UCR’s new purchasing marketplace, replacing the current eCatalog shopping experience. From one entry point, campus purchasers will be able to search across supplier catalogs, compare pricing and availability, and more easily find products from preferred, small, diverse, and sustainable suppliers.

Which name should appear on the tile? Review the finalists in the voting form and choose your favorite.

Everyone who votes for the name receiving the most votes will be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card. One winner will be selected at random.

Vote by Friday, December 4, at 5 p.m. The selected name and gift card winner will be announced in December!

September Ledgers Closed

September FTD reports are available in R’Space under Financial Web Reports. LRSS reconciliations are due November 6; certifications are due November 20. FTDR now reflects accurate ending project budget balances.

Payroll Certification Phase IV

Phase IV covers January 1–June 30, 2026. Please complete the required review and certification:

  • October 28: Department Coordinator reviews were due, and certifications should now be with the appropriate Principal Investigator (PI).

  • November 18: PIs complete their reviews and certifications.

Payroll Certification is available through R’Space Authorized Apps.

Department Coordinators should also complete any newly generated prior-period certifications through the normal process and prioritize outstanding Phase I, II and III certifications. Previously completed certifications remain unchanged and do not require recertification.

If a certification must be reassigned because a PI has separated or retired, please contact emf@ucr.edu.

Invoice to PO Receiving Rule Update for Select Suppliers

Effective November 1, 2026, Accounts Payable will implement a change to invoice processing for select suppliers to maximize administrative efficiencies and facilitate timely payments.

Purchase order receiving will no longer be required before invoices will be paid for these suppliers. This change does not impact the departmental invoice approval process. Campus departments should continue recording purchase order receipts in Oracle for their records. The initial phase will include the suppliers listed below:

    Help Keep Request Forms Current

As a best practice, departments are advised to link directly to the official BFS & Procurement Services webpages instead of uploading separate copies of centrally managed request forms, templates, or guidance. This approach ensures that campus users are directed to the most current versions, requirements, and instructions, minimizing the risk of outdated documents being circulated.
